Literacy Leadership:
Served as Chairperson of the Florida Teens Read Committee (FTR) for two years, leading a statewide team to select, promote, and evaluate high-interest young adult literature for grades 9–12. Coordinated meetings, managed selection timelines, and presented at statewide conferences.
Student Trip Leadership:
Organized and led all logistics for a 3-day 8th grade student trip to New York City, including Broadway, historical sites, and cultural institutions
Currently planning a 2028 international student trip to London with interdisciplinary learning connections in literature, history, and the arts.
