About Me

I have been teaching since 2011. I started my teaching career in Naples, Florida. There I taught English/Reading, TV Production, and Theatre. As theatre director, I directed a variety of plays and musicals including High School Musical On Stage, Little Shop of Horrors, Sister Act, Clue, and She Kills Monsters (Young Adventurers Edition). 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Writing from Central Connecticut State University (2006) and a Master of Science in Secondary English Education from the University of New Haven (2011). After having open heart surgery in 2015, I decided to pursue another degree and received my Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University in 2018. I became a library media specialist in Florida in 2019.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, cooking, and spending time with my two pets (a corgi named Shakespeare and cat named Foster).
